Steps for Pass
If you have the e-Pass user ID & Password, then log-in into the system to apply for the new pass in the space provided in the top right corner of your computer screen.
If you do not have the e-Pass user ID & Password, then register yourself putting the information as per the form shown in the right of your computer screen (fields marked * are compulsory) .
If you provide your e-mail address, then you will be updated about the status of your application in different stages of e-Pass.
After registration e-Pass User ID & Password will be displayed in your computer screen and simultaneously SMS/e-Mail will be sent. You are requested to record your log-in information for applying pass in future.
Fill up the application for new pass as per the form shown in the left of your computer screen (all fields are compulsory). Right part of this page will show your registration details for your information.
After submission of your application, it will go on-line to the officer to whom you want to meet. S/he will Approve/Reject your application on-line.
After approval/rejection, a SMS/e-Mail alert will be sent to your Mobile/e-Mail given at the time of registration. Then applicant have to take the print of approved pass from the net.
Then take the printed pass along with the photo ID card (which you have given at time of pass application) to the reception (green) counter to authenticate your photo ID proof.
Receptionist sitting at the green counter will read the pass with barcode reader verify your Photo ID proof
(will edit if found mismatch). If anything is edited, then receptionist will give you the fresh print of your pass with authentication by putting an approved seal & signature in the space proved in the e-Pass and return to you.
You have to go to the Security (Entry) Gate No. 4 (adjacent to the reception counter), where the security personnel will read the e-Pass with the wireless barcode reader to check the validity of your pass & allow you to enter into the secretariat building.
Note: The daily pass holder will be allowed only at Security (Entry) Gate No. 4.
After finishing your work, you have to return the e-Pass at any Security (Exit) Gate. If any visitor does not return his/her pass at the time of exist, then the pass will not be issued to that particular visitor in future.
